My review of the 3 week diet

First, let’s clear up some confusion. The 3 week diet rewards affiliates handsomely for promoting their product, which explains some of the biased reviews you’ll see online. There are even some who have labelled the product an outright scam, but I think that’s a gross misrepresentation. It’s not perfect, but it’s well compiled and contains some good information. At the end of the day, the program is designed to help you lose weight over a period of 3 weeks. It does this by combining intermittent fasting with an overall reduction in calorie consumption, both of which are time-tested and effective for weight loss. They also advocate a balanced diet of natural foods containing protein, complex carbs and moderate amounts of saturated and unsaturated fats. This is to be offset by cutting out highly processed junk foods and sugary drinks, which is to be expected.

So, the main thing you wanna know is ‘did I lose weight?’ Yep, I sure did! 12lbs to be exact. I found the fasting to be pretty tough to deal with first thing in the morning. I never realised how much I take carbs for granted! I also didn’t care much for the recipes, some more variety would’ve been good. Overall however I have to give the program due credit. I did help me lose weight and I improved my knowledge on important aspects of nutrition and how they relate to burning/storing fat. To get the most out of the program, you’ll also want to follow the workouts they include. Each workout typically includes 5 exercises where you complete a set number of reps. They’re simple and fun, but can get a little boring and repetitive after a while, which is why I recommend adding your own activities, like I did, to keep things fresh. If you’re interested in giving the program a whirl, I recommend reading this review before you buy.
